Adobe TV gets a long awaited redesign that I am sure all users will come to love and appreciate.  While the original Adobe TV got the job done, it simply was not up to par in comparison to other popular video sharing sites.  I personally feel these new features add so much more value to Adobe TV.  It now feels more natural of an experience.

When developing Adobe AIR apps, having the capability of controling the look and feel of an application’s window chrome is huge. Not only does it allow for designers to create a much more appealing interface window chrome, it also allows for personal branding.

With a community full of AIR applications, personal branding is something that just might make your application stand out more than others. However, this concept can act as a double edged blade as you don’t want to risk usability when getting creative with your application’s window chrome.

Earlier this year, Lee Brimelow wrote a nice tutorial on how to go about customizing your application’s chrome and pros and cons on doing so.

“Flash in a flash” is a series of training videos that John Schuman of Adobe designed to get you going with Adobe Flash CS3—in a flash.   This series of training video takes you through the creation of a Flash project as you learn the fundamentals of working with Flash including working with symbols, creating and controlling animations, adding audio, creating buttons, and video.

John Schuman’s series, Flash in a Flash, can be found at Adobe Tv or as a channel that can be subscribed via the Adobe AIR application, Adobe Media Player.
