If you're even a just little bit excited about AS3, then you need to leave right now and head over to Grant Skinner's generously donated slide deck from his Introductory AS3 Workshop.  Grant's slide deck includes 165 slides and they are filled with useful code snippets.

After going through these slides, you will walk away feeling much more confident about AS3 and migrating over than you did prior to reading them.  (Well at least I did)  Check it out for yourself.
