Access Your Xdrive Storage with AIR
Xdrive is a data backup service provided by AOL. A free Xdrive account can get you 5Gb of online storage making it your personal hard drive on the Internet. Essentially it is a place to store, back-up, organize, access, and share your permissible files and folders.
Until now the account was only accessible online or through the Xdrive Desktop utility. AOL’s new Xdrive Desktop Lite application makes accessing the files and folders in your Xdrive online data-storage account even easier. The app, still in beta, has some useful features–such as the ability to preview media files, drag and drop interface, and ability to share right from the interface. However, the app can be a little confusing to use.
AOL says it will be adding more features such as automatic file syncing. Overall, this AIR app is off to a nice start and is nice companion to all Xdrive users.
