The guys over at
Powerflasher have recently released their free and platform independent Socket Output Server. The
SOS max is the brand-new release of the POWERFLASHER Socket Output Server - a fast and helpful programmer tool.
Coverflow and Papervision 3D hook up to create
IgalleryX. IgalleryX is a gallery that displays a stack of multiple photos, swfs, or videos with a reflection and perspective effect.
Here's a nice Flash utility that is a must for Flash developers called
Zoom + Pan Controls. This tool allows you to provide control to your dynamic content such as imagery and swf files. The button controls available allow for zooming, panning and resetting the position of the image.

For all you FlashDevelop users out there, the time has come to download the long overdue release of FlashDevelop 3.0.0 Beta8. While this release has been in and out of beta testing, the wait has been worth it. This release looks to dramatically improve stability along with the addition of some mighty features.
ToobPlayer is a lightweight FLV player component that comes in five flavors, provides a mechanism to play back YouTube videos, and can also display preview images.
FlashDevelop is a .NET open source script editor designed mostly for Actionscript 2/3 development. FlashDevelop can be used as an external editor for the
Flash IDE or as a complete open source development environment.
Triworks, an online Flash community juggernaut, releases a new Flash site template called the
Elite XML website. Triworks is well known on
Flashden.net for creating great Flash components and more importantly Flash site templates.
The
Fisix engine is a verlet based physics engine for Flash written in
Actionscript 3.0. This engine is aimed towards use in games and other relatively cpu intensive real-time applications as it makes use of Flash Player 9’s improved cpu capabilities.
Flashloaded has just released an upgrade to their highly rated
3D Wall component called
3D Wall Pro . While many of the features are the same, a few features should be noted like support for FLV playback, external SWf's, and YouTube integration.
