I was wanting to know which book I would need to get to learn how to turn my flash programs into desk top applications using AIR? I have recently purchased Beginning Adobe AIR: Building Applications for the Adobe Integrated Runtime (Programmer to Programmer)but this does not give me what I need? I have created a huge program that needs to have the ablility to save to disk and create a diary feature plus a lot more. What I am trying to work out is how to make the technologies talk to each other, how to add the AIR to the flash and get the results I need? If anyone can help with this that would be great! Thanks in advance.:) All I need it the right book!

in Adobe AIR: Create – Modify – Reuse (Programmer to Programmer) exactly the first example is about the file system and file manipulation!
Cheers!
